Compatible devices: Alternate can be driven from any "stream controller"-class peripheral: Elgato Stream Deck (official plugin), Mirabox Stream Dock, Loupedeck, Razer Stream Controller, AJAZZ AKP and similar, as well as programmable macro keyboards and USB foot pedals. Any device that can send a key combination can trigger a group's hotkey.

  1. Requirements (Stream Deck plugin): Stream Deck software installed and Paradoxon Alternate running on the same machine.
  2. Installation: run instalar_plugin.bat and restart the Stream Deck software; the action appears as "Paradoxon Alternate".
  3. Configuration: drag the group action to a button, open the Property Inspector, refresh the app list, select 2–5 applications and save.
  4. Usage: each press switches to the group's next app; the button shows visual state feedback (<100 ms response).
  5. Communication: the plugin connects to the engine through a local REST API, with automatic reconnection if the engine restarts.
  6. Other brands: on devices without a dedicated plugin (Stream Dock, Loupedeck, USB pedals, etc.), assign the group's key combination to a button in the manufacturer's software; Alternate receives it as a global hotkey.
