Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. At Paradoxon we prioritize collecting the minimum data necessary.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Paradoxon LLC. For any questions about your data, write to [email protected].
2. Data we collect
- Email address, when you join the waitlist, use the contact form, create a customer account, or purchase a license.
- Name and message, only if you voluntarily provide them (contact form, support tickets).
- Billing and transaction data (never your full card number, which never passes through our servers) when you purchase a license.
- Basic technical data (browser, language, IP) for site security and operation.
3. Purpose
- Responding to your inquiries and support tickets.
- Managing the product waitlist and notifying you of updates.
- Processing payment and delivery of your license key.
- Protecting the site against abuse, spam, or unauthorized access.
- Improving the site experience without invasive profiling.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent when using the contact form or joining the waitlist, on contract performance when you purchase a license, and on the legitimate interest of maintaining service security.
5. Retention
Contact and waitlist data is kept while an active relationship exists or until you request its deletion. Billing and license data is kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting regulations (generally several years). You may request deletion of anything not subject to a legal retention obligation at any time.
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, cancellation, objection, or portability of your data by writing to [email protected]. If you believe we have not properly handled your request, you have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
7. Third parties and international transfers
We use the following providers, which act as data processors:
- Firebase / Google Cloud (Google LLC, USA) — authentication, database, and image hosting.
- Stripe (Stripe Inc., USA) — payment processing. Stripe never gives us your full card number.
Both providers process data on servers outside the European Economic Area (primarily in the USA). This transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses and compliance mechanisms both companies offer for international data transfers. We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.
8. Cookies and our own analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage for the site to function (login session, language and theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
We also generate our own, aggregate usage statistics (pages visited, approximate visit duration, country of origin, and device type), solely to understand how the site is used and improve it. This system:
- Does not use a persistent cookie — it uses a temporary identifier that only lives while the tab is open, to distinguish "page views" from "visits."
- Does not store your IP address; the country is obtained from a header that already travels with every request (via Cloudflare), and the IP is never stored.
- Does not cross data between sites or build an individual profile — only aggregate daily counters are kept (e.g. "340 visits on July 12"), never a per-person record.
You can review and manage the cookie notice from the banner shown on your first visit.
9. SMS notifications (Paradoxon Assistant)
Businesses that use Paradoxon Assistant may send you SMS notices about your repair order (for example: equipment ready for pickup, a warranty expiration reminder, or a postponement notice). These messages are transactional; they contain no advertising.

Consent is requested explicitly when your order is registered at the front desk and is stored with its date. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any message or by asking at the front desk. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
Your phone number and your SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. We will publish the effective date on this same page.
Note: this text is a clear operational version. Before enabling commerce or processing payments, we recommend review by local legal counsel.
Anonymous usage data in Paradoxon Assistant
Paradoxon Assistant can send a daily summary of how the program is used, only if you allow it. It starts off: if you never allow it, nothing is sent.
This is everything that is sent:
- how many times each screen was opened, as numbers;
- if the program had an error, the error type and the spot in the code where it happened (file, line and function), never the text of the message;
- the Assistant version installed on your computer;
- the language you use Assistant in;
- the date the summary covers.
This is never sent:
- any of your customers' data: names, phone numbers, emails, repair orders, prices or photos;
- the text of the program's error messages;
- anything that identifies your computer: serial number, machine name, IP address, Windows user or license key;
- the time of day you did something. Only the date.
The data arrives with no identification at all and is added to a daily total together with every other installation. That is why Paradoxon LLC cannot tell what your computer sent, even if it wanted to: it is not stored separately. It is used to decide what to improve in Assistant and to fix errors faster.
You can turn it on or off at any time, in Settings → Notices and privacy. Turning it off does not limit any feature of the program.
If you never answer, nothing is sent. The question appears after a week of use. If you answer “Remind me later”, it comes back every 60 days of program use. If you answer “No, thanks”, it is never asked again, and you can still turn it on yourself at any time in Settings → Notices and privacy.
