More than watts: noise, airflow and vibration on the same screen

Electrical diagnosis · 8/7/2026

Electrical power tells only part of an appliance's story. A motor vibrating too much, a dryer exceeding its normal noise level, or airflow out of range in a fan are equally important signals — and they usually require three different tools to see.

Paradoxon Wattmeter integrates noise, anemometer and vibration sensors alongside the electrical measurements. Everything arrives over the same RS485 bus and is displayed in the same interface, with the same historical logging.

Anemometer
Live anemometer readings.
Vibration sensor
Equipment vibration monitoring.

Correlation is where the value lies: seeing power draw next to the same motor's vibration lets you detect wear before failure. Rising vibration with stable consumption usually signals a mechanical problem; both rising together point to overload. The anemometer completes the picture for fans and dryers: normal power with low airflow gives away damaged blades or clogged ducts.

One test bench, one screen. Fewer scattered tools, more context to diagnose.
